Dr. Manfred Henne
Manfred Henne, MD, PhD, is the managing member and a founder of InHealth Imaging and InHealth Image. Dr. Henne brings more than 28 years of medical experience to his practices and he was recently nominated as a Kitsap Healthcare Hero by the Kitsap Sun. Dr. Henne has a passion for helping people and he is most interested in image-guided modalities, thus his interest in lasers. He was born and raised in Ulm, Germany. Prior to medical school, Dr. Henne received a master’s degree in physics from the University in Freiburg, Germany. After working in physics for a few years Dr. Henne decided that he really want to interact with people more and returned to school to complete his medical degree. He graduated from the Technische Universität Medical School in Munich, Germany with a MD-PhD in 1983. At that time he decided to focus on radiology as his primary field of work. He completed a residency in radiology at the University of Mississippi Medical School and performed additional radiology fellowship training at the University of South Alabama and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and holds two patents to date. He is board certified by the American College of Radiology. Dr. Henne continues to expand his healthcare knowledge and medical endeavors and decided to open InHealth Image. “I see InHealth Image as an opportunity to support people who are transitioning through life,” Dr. Henne said. “This service allows our team to help people make a transition in their lives so that they feel good about the current external image they present to the world.” When not at work Dr. Henne is an avid biker (in fact he bikes 24 miles roundtrip to and from work each day). He also enjoys skiing, hiking, water sports and travel. He and his wife currently reside in Tracyton and enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
